Follow the Coleridge Way up the east bank of the River Lyn to the National Trust's Watersmeet. Alternatively, cross the River Lyn and walk the Two Moors Way.

Doone Valley
Take the B3223 to one of the parking spots on Brendon Common. Wander across high moor to Brendon Country. You'll usually see Exmoor ponies.
